WIP 5/5/2021 (game dev time...!!)

Hello everyone! Xeralex here. Today we shall be sharing with you something little special. Our wip for the first small game we are developing!

I always loved video games, especially of the RPG genre. And so after some study and work on improving my digital art skills, i'm ready to continue learning and developing my own games!

For now though, i will not start with anything too big. As i am still learning, i decided to make some small games first, some pet projects so to speak, that will help me to learn and develop better both my skills and knowledge over coding and ect. All these games that shall be made will be free to play for all upon their completion, but during their making, all of our patrons will have a chance to get their OCs inside the stories too, in the form of npcs or sometimes even enemies too!

The tittle of the first game will be "Engineer's Quest". A small funny idea i had, with themed magic, and cowboys...! Yes you heard correctly XD! Ehehehehe.

Now, without any more delay, here are some maps i have prepared so far:

As you can see here, i have created enough maps, and I have almost finished all them i wish to make for the story. My goal for the game's first update is to finish all the remaining maps that the game has, create a few original pics for the characters of the game, and a few enemy sprites, to test the battle system out.

SMALL NOTE HERE: I shall not be creating many original assets for this game, as it is my first pet project, and i am using it mostly as a base to start learning creating games. Mostly, the only original assets that will be made for this game are:
-Character portraits
-Enemy sprites
-simple cutscenes panels (think like Mis pgs pics)

Now, as for the patrons npcs positions, well you all will come and see them, one by one very soon, as i already have talked with most of you and settle things down for that too ;3.
