My family & I were walking around our hotel in Japan minding our own business (weâre Muslims btw half of us were wearing the hijab) two old ladies walked up to us & started yapping at us in Japanese, pointed at a small statue of buddha that was near us & was like go to this temple. they skipped everyone & walked all the way towards us thinking âthoseâre the people we want to join buddhismâ... we thanked them awkwardly & rejected but my girls werenât budging, like you canât force someone to go to where you perform your religion & expect them to join it especially when itâs clear that theyâre already part of a different religionâŠ??? I was literally terrified for my life, it was so bad we had to speed-walk away from themđ
