Yellow With Christina Garcia

When we were picking outfits for the first look in the backyard near the pool she pulled out this yellow dress and I immediately fell in love. With the colors she used in her make up I knew it was going to be perfect for inside in the living room. After a short break and some more coffee Christina slipped into the sheer yellow dress, perched up in the corner on the living room where the light was the best and we got to work.
As I said in the last set release with Christina, this was my first time shooting not in my studio for quite some time. When we moved from outside to inside it still took me a little while to adjust and get comfortable. It makes me think back to when I used to shoot 'sets' and 'progression' style, I was hopping all over the place, climbing over furniture and getting myself into the most ridiculous positions to get the shot. Within a few minutes of shooting in the living room I was back to it as if I never stopped.
It was an interesting thing to shoot in her boss' house. I did not really ask if there were limitations of what we could and could not shoot. I knew she had a very candid relationship with her boss, but I did not know to what extend. As a result, we quickly shot through this look and did not really move onto nudity of any sort because her boss was right in the other room. In hindsight, I wish I had asked because afterwards Christina said she really would not have cared and in fact encouraged it.
Oh well, at least a beautiful set came out of it and I got to capture Christina in a stunning mid-century modern home. Enjoy!
