Analogue With Reed | An SX-70 Type Exposure

This day. This day was an extremely fantastic day for Polaroids. I sometimes judge how a shoot went completely dependent on how the polaroids and film of the day came out. With those critiquing guidelines; this day was a phenomenal day for Polaroids! Between all of the different types shot, every single Polaroid came out perfect an exactly how I wanted it to.

For this exposure; Reed walked up to this lamp that was basically dangling off the wall and said, I would love to get an image with this, but do not make it look like a hat. I grabbed the SX-70, strapped it to the tripod and framed. I put it on the tripod because the light was a little more difficult that what I would normally like for an SX-70 exposure and did not want any camera shake as a possibility.

Framed, stable and posed. Click, a slide through the rollers, processing chemicals spread across the film and into the dark abyss of my camera bag. Ten minutes later, emerges a perfect exposure. Enjoy!

This image of Reed was shot on Polaroid Originals SX-70 type B&W film with a Polaroid SX-70 Sonar OneStep. If you would like to call this exposure your own, please feel free to send me a message directly here on Patreon!
