Just found about Illustrious this week, shit destroys Pony, sadly not many Checkpoints yet, and not a single cartoon related one also, plus LoRA's are on the snail phase, well at least not LoRA's that I care about, my ginger girls.
Illustrious is like what FLUX promised to be, I was super hyped for FLUX, as you know I simped hardcore for it, but it ended being another censored garbage with bizarre nipples, which is SUPER sad because the prompt adherence is so good, Illustrious is like a mix of FLUX and Pony, prompt adherence is also top notch, heck if you don't specify things the chances of seeing it are super low, think ass, big ass, fat ass, with Pony that would net you a girl with these tags BUT with Illustrious that will get the girl with these tags facing away, so this means one can control the scene better.
But like I said it is still in it's infancy and not enough support for it, will stick with Pony.

My experience with it so far has been amazing, the ratio of deformed to good hands is far, far lower than Pony, and the amount of concepts it understands out of the box is insane, LoRA's are still necessary I believe.
