Old style set

Hey hello! How are you feeling? I'm quite good, just a little bit tired after hours of editing🙈. This set made me work a lot more than I expected! I used to think that shooting in a complicated and detailed location would make the editing harder, but now I know the truth is the contrary. To make the pictures look clean, I had to actually clean that dirty wall with Photoshop; any imperfection on that cold-white would ruin the effect. Anyways, I'm quite proud of the result ✨ I wanted to recreate a situation I used to research on my first self-portraits: a neutral background and simply me, moving around. That spot is the only plain and white one of the house, and it saw many different shades of me. Last Monday, when I shot this serie, I had pink and soft colors in my mind and I felt like eating bread with jam for breakfast. Empty environments and loneliness always help me explore my creativity, so even though these photos may look quite amateur, quite raw, I hope you will see something interesting in them 🌸

Hey ciao! Come state? Io abbastanza bene, sono solo un po stanca dopo tante ore passate a postprodurre 🙈. Questo set mi ha fatto lavorare più del previsto! Un tempo pensavo che scattare in ambienti pieni di dettagli avrebbe reso l'editing più complicato, invece la verità è l'esatto opposto. Per far apparire le foto pulite, ho dovuto di fatto pulire quella sporca parete con Photoshop; qualsiasi imperfezione in mezzo a quel bianco.freddo avrebbe rovinato l'effetto. Comunque, sono abbastanza fiera del risultato finale ✨ Ci tenevo a ricreare una situazione che ricercavo spesso nei miei primi autoritratti: uno sfondo neutro e semplicemente io, io che mi muovo. Quello è l'unico angolino libero che c'è in casa mia, cosa che gli ha fatto conoscere molte sfumature di me. Lunedì scorso, quando ho scattato questa serie, la mia mente era colorata di rosa e di colori delicati, e mi ero svegliata con la voglia di mangiare pane e marmellata a colazione. Ambienti vuoti e solitudine mi aiutano sempre ad esplorare la mia creatività, quindi nonostante queste foto sembrino amatoriali e grezze, spero che vi troverete qualcosa di interessante 🌸
