こんばんは、DA！（だ）です。

この前の日曜日に万博が始まりましたね。皆さんは行きますか？

比較的大阪にアクセスしやすい場所にいるので行きたいな~とは思っているのですがチケットとか予約とかがなんか面倒で出来ていません…興味はあるんですが…。

あともう1つネックなのが万博までの道中です。大阪を経由するとどうしても近くに飲み屋街があるのでそっちに足が向いてしまうんじゃないかと心配です。誰か引きずって連れてってくれ。

今回は1個！

白ふわもち小柄看守キャラデザ

かわい～～！！僕がふわふわもちもち小柄白髪【伏字】が好きって話してましたっけ。

赤白ベースの金アクセント、もちもち体型の悪魔風角持ち長耳ってことで色々イメージを膨らませて自分の癖も持ち込みました。コイツまた軍服風衣装描いてますよ。

海外の方からのリクエストだったので英語で台詞書いてますが、左下で「殴るよ～♪」と言っている通り、殴ります。ふわふわ柔和小柄【伏字】に殴られて従わされるの、気持ちがいいと思います。

上下のシルエット差を意識してみて、腰から上は髪でボリュームがある分下半身はすっきりシルエットです。でもむちむち下半身に…。

デザインが決まって清書中はずっと「かわいい～！」「ブラボー、かわいすぐる（拍手）」「ちょっとかわいすぎるなコレは…大丈夫か…」と騒いでいました。オタクすぎる。いや、オタクすぐる。別にリクエスト内容にあるわけでもないのに表情もどんどん描いちゃいました。かわいすぎて。

今回を機会に本を買ったりキャラデザの勉強もしてみたり、新しい描き方を定着させたり描き方もちょっと変えてみたりと良い経験になりました。

名前も決まってないんですがやっぱかわいいな…！

今は音声作品の台本を形にしようかなぁと思っています。台本書いて依頼出して、納品されるまでの間に本のネーム描いて、同時並行で絵も描いていくぞって気持ちです。本当にできるのか？！心の鉄は熱いうちに打て！

今回の記事の内容としてはここで終わりますが以降はこの記事の英語版です。

なんでかと言うと先にちょっと触れた通り、今回のskebクライアントさんが海外の方だったのでその方も読みやすいように一応…まぁ今回は特殊ケースということで。

日本語版と内容が違うというちょっと凝ったアニメの演出みたいなことはないのでここで読み終わって大丈夫です。

Good evening, this is DA!(だ)

The World Expo kicked off last Sunday.Are any of you planning to go?

I live in a place that’s relatively easyto access Osaka from, so I do want

to go, but… dealing with tickets andreservations just feels like a hassle.

I am interested, though…

Another thing holding me back isthe route to the Expo. If I pass

through Osaka, I know myself — I’ll get distracted by the bar districts

nearby.

I might end up wanderingthere instead. Someone please drag me straight to the venue.

Just one update this time!

Character design of a small, soft, fluffy demon warden girl.

She turned out so cute!!

Have I mentioned I love small, fluffy, chubby white-haired girls (redacted)?

With her red-and-white color base, gold accents, plush body, demon horns,

and long ears—I let my imagination run wild and sprinkled in a lot

of my own tastes, too.

Yup, I drew another military-style outfit. No surprises there.

Since this was a request from someone overseas, I wrote the

character’s dialogue in English.

But as you can see in the bottom left, she is saying “殴るよ～♪” ("I'm gonna punch you~♪"). So yes, she punches.

There’s something wonderful about being adorably beaten into submission

by a small, fluffy, soft demon girl (redacted).

I tried to emphasize the contrast between the upper and lower body:

her top half has a voluminous hairstyle, so the lower half has a sleeker silhouette—

though still chubby and thick.

While finalizing the design, I was just sitting there yelling things like,

"Too cute!!", "Bravo! She’s way too cute!! (claps)", "Hold on... she might be too cute...

is this even allowed?" Classic overexcited otaku behavior.

Actually, it got so good I even ended up drawing a bunch of extra expressions

that weren’t even requested— she was just too cute not to.

This request also inspired me to pick up a new book, study more

about character design, try new rendering techniques, and shake up

my art workflow a bit.

It was a great experience overall.

Still hasn’t got a name yet, but man… she’s really cute.

Right now, I’m thinking of putting together a script for a voice drama.

While I’m writing that and waiting on commissions to come back,

I’ll also be thumbnailing a new book, and drawing in parallel.

Can I really pull this off?! Strike the iron while it’s hot!!
