A stone I died and rose again a plant;
A plant I died and rose an animal;
I died an animal and was born a man.
Why should I fear? What have I lost by death?"A Stone I Died" by Mewlana Jalaluddin Rumi
I wanted to do a photoshoot about death. I imagined it to be dark, cold, grim so I went to the mountains before sunset expecting clouds but then at the top I saw the most beautiful foggy and warm sunset. I was sad at first but decided to try anyway and I liked this contrast because there's no death without life. The life I saw in tree full of white flowers, in warmth of the sun and sunflare on my scythe.
I'll still try to do a gloomy death photoshoot tho. Maybe in the Autumn ;)
Love, Erinthul.
