I visited this place for the first time a year ago and I fell in love with this hidden waterfall. I knew I had to come back and this was a perfect opportunity. I wanted to portray a slavic demon that lives in caves near mountain stream and lure men inside but I'll write a full post about it in a few days.
In Slavic folklore, the rusalka is a typically feminine entity, often malicious toward mankind and frequently associated with water. Folklorists have proposed a variety of origins for the entity, including that they may originally stem from Slavic paganism, where they may have been seen as benevolent spirits.
Oh gods! I am so in love with those photos. It was really worth waking up at 4 am, when the light was still so cold and noone was around.

This is a beautiful series! You've perfectly captured the cold tones of the light and how it interacts with your body. I like everything about these photos! You may have woken up early for these shots, but you captured the cold light of "blue hour" perfectly. You only have that perfect light for a very short time (the name Blue Hour is deceiving. It's definitely not an hour. I also love the composition of every photo. Each one is right on point. Wow, just wow!! I look forward to more!
