This whole set was inspired by a painter I admire a lot - Zdzisław Beksiński. In one of his paintings titled "Pełzająca śmierć" (although he rarely titled his own work) he created a creature with a head covered in bandages. I remember learning about this painting during art class in middle school. It was very different from the other paintings we discussed and I think that's why I remembered it so vividly and it's partially why I gravitate towards creating dark aesthetic through my photography.

This place I found by accident during mushroom picking was perfect for this creature and I am thinking about doing a series called "Faceless" or something like that. What do you think?
