2023-06-27 17:31:27 +0000 UTCOh geez, I wasn't expecting to ever see a reference to The Ugly Dachshund out in the wild like that! I watched that a few years ago when I came across it on Disney+, and it is absolutely terrible. Your pronunciation of 'dachshund' also reminded me of when my own dachsie was a brand new pup, and I met a former breeder of them on a walk... I said it that way to him and he immediately snapped "Daks-hund" to correct me! Technically the German pronunciation would be 'correct', but the other way is fine too as far as I'm concerned. There may be angry comments about it though, fyi.
