Chapter Twenty (0.20.0) Update #1
Added 2021-08-30 21:54:44 +0000 UTCWe're back and development on Chapter Twenty is up and rolling. With what happened at the end of the last chapter, the story picks up the following morning. Of course, if you made a different decision, you'll still have another opportunity later on.
At this point, locking in the plot document is a matter of dumping a bunch of already existing ideas into a pile and sorting out what can be done this time around. Between tying up threads from previous chapters and slotting in story elements that need to be progressed for the game's end, I'm finding little room for extra fluff.
So far, there's a rough semi-playable version of the first third of the chapter, sans back-end code and audio coding. Plus, I spent most of this past weekend just doing screens and animation for two of the bigger scenes that appear later (best to do those when I have a full day off).
