Great reaction. This first one was A. cutting edge innovation in special effects at the time. B. skillfully tells a deeply thematic and emotionally dark story. It asks the question regarding mankind’s development of weapons “where does it end?”. Atomic weapons led directly to Godzilla. Now this oxygen destroyer. Does it just keep elscalating? Sadly, history proved that seems to be the case. And here heavy themes and spectacular scenes of destruction and mayhem bracketed with a surprising effective human emotional drama. Great movie. And IMO Bunny you never have to apologize or feel self conscious about having a strong emotional reaction. First of all, I think this movie totally earns it. Second it’s a beautiful thing when a piece of art can genuinely affect someone and it one reason I love your reactions

Personally I was stressed out a bit at the end with you being so sad. I'm empathic too, and I always like to see a happy, smiling Bunny, and I feel bad if you feel bad too. Anyway, I would not completely agree with a portrayal of Godzilla as total victimization. Would he not have had an opportunity to avoid some of the conflict, or did he go looking for it? How much intelligence do we credit Godzilla for? The more intelligent the creature, the more we expect them to exercise restraint, even in the face of retaliation for attack against them. I.e. could some of Godzilla's damage be called "gratuitous"? (Noting of course that movie producers will often intentionally have such a character OVER-REACT, precisely to avoid creating such a sympathetic figure). At 32:55 of the reaction, "what's the word I am looking for?", that also could be applied to Serizawa by the way, I would go with "conflicted". Per the Cambridge Dictionary: "confused or worried because you cannot choose between very different ideas, feelings, or beliefs, and do not know what to do or believe". As a former Philosophy Major, I should also note that the dilemma presented here for Serizawa later went on to become known in moral philosophy as what is called "the trolley problem". Anyway, loved your reaction. Do you think you will post it to YouTube? (If you do, use Resolve to do some Color Page touch-up to the Archive.org tape. I ran it through Resolve + rendered it to then watch the reaction on VLC Media Player, and the movie came out very, very dark). ㊗️
