Contest Results

Hi folks! 

After much deliberation, no small amount of nipping and tail pulling, and a little bit of good 'ol literary debate over tea, our judges have come to a final decision regarding our latest writing contest! 

Big thanks to all who participated. We had a number of strong entries this round, along with quite a few new entrants which was wonderful to see! We'd encourage everyone to share their work online and to enter again in the future. We'd love for the entrants to reply to this post with a link to your story once it's posted!

Now, without further ado...

Runner up - Coldstone: Their story, Blessings and Sacrifices, engrossed us in its worldbuilding and storytelling, and enamoured us with its ability to brings us back to a little village in pre-history beseeching a God they can barely comprehend. Congratulations! 

Runner up - Tony Greyfox: His story, A New God took us along on the sublime experience of a lone boatman, saved by an entrancing Suicune who found mortal matters so quaint and amusing - and enjoyable too. It featured some adorable, sexy, and intriguing moments that never failed to keep us reading. Congratulations!

And, with their second contest victory here, please put your hands together for... 

Rogue! With Il Lamento del Lazio. We had a hard time putting down this enchanting narrative, which carried us along with a charming, love-struck Latios, some wonderfully atmospheric prose, vistas of classical urban canal architecture, and a tale that played with our hearts. It's a well-deserved first place, Congratulations!

We will be contacting the winner and runners-up shortly regarding their prizes, and everyone who entered will receive a personalized feedback review from our judges regarding their story. Thanks again all, and look forward to the next one!
