Weekly Status Report: 2025/09/21 to 09/27

WE. ARE. IN. GO. MODE.

EDITING HAS BEGUN!

Now, there are still tasks to complete as I go. I am trying to smooth over some of the narration and tightening areas of the script, BUT we are in go mode!

So this is my approach to editing on Kinnikuman: one of the annoying parts of editing long videos like PaRappa was feeling like I was collecting resources as I went. For the most part, I have everything I need for Kinnikuman save for some filming and maybe a thing I forgot here and there that'll take me a sec to Google. Here are my steps:

1. Laying down and positioning resources (images and videos) where they're needed in 15 minute "chunks".

2. Mark any sections that need text, updated narration, or images/videos I don't have yet. That way I won't be hung up on hunting down things on Google or anything.

3. Balance narration audio within those "chunks" (very annoying because I've had so many recording sessions).

4. Add music and balance audio as needed, again, within those "chunks". The only song I have added so far is "Floating Point", which is my usual intro song, because that's easy to slot in. There are other songs already added in later parts that I KNOW I want used ("Pomp and Circumstance, Op. 39 - No. 1" being among them, OH YEAH!).

5. Move onto the next "chunk" and repeat until complete.

6. Once everything is set, go back and animate everything. If I animated as I went, it would be more frustrating. It's better to just have everything set in place and have dedicated time to animate everything in continuous sessions.

But I have more news! My interview with someone for the next video is TOMORROW NIGHT! I can't say who I am interviewing because it would be a dead giveaway for the next episode, but the person isn't a voice actor, so I don't think there would be many questions from viewers, and the ones that WOULD be asked are questions I'm asking anyhow. I'll announce who this mystery person is after Kinnikuman is out.

BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE! I got a response back from someone else I contacted for the next video, but they didn't have much to say and instead pointed me in the direction of somebody else that would know more! I've yet to contact this person, but stay tuned!

And this past Friday we had a hangout stream, which was fun as always! Next stream won't be for a few weeks.
