When he was very beaten down he absorbed power and shake more and more the ropes until he was refilled and full of wild energy again. What he did when he was looking up and looking for answers is that he had a deep connection with the Gods above, he was always in connection with the Gods, I felt that they created him and send him to this earth to show the world what a Warrior is, he was a Warrior send to earth by the Gods above.
