The original grouping of the Nature Boy Ric Flair, He was also known as the man, Ole Anderson and Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard. The Horsemen were one of the most legendary groups in professional wrestling history while performing in Mid-Atlantic Championship Wrestling and then World Championship Wrestling. Some here and there controversies convinced Vince McMahon to start rigidly scripting the promos but that seems to have fallen more out of style again. Triple H and Ric Flair are so close because Triple H pulled Ric Flair out of a rut by telling him pretty much "Dude, you're Ric Flair" and partnering together with him on TV in a 2-3 year run that restored his confidence
