(Reupload) Nick's parents, young - a concept

First of all, I’d like to thank all of my patrons so far for choosing to support me! All of you are amazing and I’m super grateful.
Let’s see, this “work in progress” - this has been sitting in my drafts for a little while (probably a month or two) and although I like it, I wasn’t sure if it would get a good response so I focused on other artworks in the meantime. I know a lot of people have their own interpretations, so I guess this is mine! I really wished the movie touched more on Nick’s past and specifically his parents, but I digress. My initial idea behind this was their photo was unknowingly taken at some kind of typical house party as college students. The final version of this, should it come to completion, will be drawn to look like an old polaroid photo laid on a table (or being held by someone, I haven’t decided yet).

2020-04-24 20:36:45 +0000 UTCOh absolutely! Yeah, same here - there are so many things that could've happened that ultimately shaped Nick along the way, it's really interesting to think about. I'd love to make it a series of sorts, and I have to thank you for your comment as you've given me plenty of neat ideas for some potential artworks! I often theorize that Nick's dad might've abandoned the family or something as to me it was vaguely implied that his mother was a single parent, maybe? Low on money, etc. But who knows - I'll definitely be exploring this through my art either way, it's good stuff. Thanks again!

I do think that they got together at a very young age, and I don't think they were together for very long before Nick was underway. I agree. I would love to know more about Nick's past in general, including his parents. This is why we need that sequel, it should totally expand on this. (And Nick and Judy relationship, too). I would also like to see how Judy and Mrs. Wilde interact. Judy helped her son, but she also said those things at the press conference. Nick had prey friends before, which ended rather badly so would Nick's trust in Judy be enough for her? I personally like the idea, of Judy and Mrs. Wilde becoming very good friends eventually. Also, she would totally be rooting for Judy and Nick being an item. (Because I'm a sucker for fluff and everything nice. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯) Then there's Mr. Wilde. What happened to him? I personally can't make up my mind whether he should have died at a young age or maybe he ended up in jail or just ran away? I think I'm sorta leaning towards him being dead, but the whole "one parents are dead" is kinda cliche when it comes to Disney. I dunno. I would love to hear your thoughts on this. You have already made some other pics showing us the past of Nick and also his mother. I wonder if you're planning to make it a series of some kind?
