We were discussing why Ms. O is the ultimate assistant and wing-woman. I mentioned how she doesn’t get phased by my anxiety, how she’s good at breaking down tasks and delegating , how her decisive decision making is a boon to my bum-and-haw Libra nature. I also stated the obvious, that her positivity is uplifting and her ability to say “you’re doing great!” no matter the circumstances is comforting. And then I uttered the phrase “Sometimes you just need a pretty girl to lie to you.” And now we want to get her business cards that say that. Because it’s true, and she is very good at being that pretty girl.
