To avoid apple’s fees join or purchase posts via web browser, Apple also holds your funds for 75 days so the creator doesn’t receive anything for about 2 1/2 months which I’m personally not a fan of.
I’ve seen other creators express their disappointment in these changes, unfortunately not much we can do on our end besides just give you all a small heads up, they kind of just forced this on us a few months ago.

I don’t think you have to delete anything, it’s just that purchasing anything through the app is the issue not the app itself. In terms of membership if you paid via the app you could also cancel your membership for the month and resub via web browser when the membership expires so you aren’t paying the 30% Apple fee.
