The halfway point in each movie is always like an ending point so it is possible to watch each movie in 2 parts. They are so good and engaging that you probably won’t want to stop watching. They’re way better than these pirate movies even though I like these movies as well.

As for the Lord of the Rings, just cut the movies in half. They are pretty long, but they have areas that are perfect for stopping at which makes it easy to react to the movies in parts. It doesn't have to be one long sitting.

2022-11-19 14:33:05 +0000 UTCGreat movie, great reaction. I think the reason there hasn't been a pirates movie for a while isn't because of the franchise. All of the movies are great. Sure, they are sequels, there are very few exceptions to that, but they're still good. I think it has more to do with Johnny Depp's personal situation. Also, you need to watch Gladiator if you haven't, or re-watch it if you have (you might hear a familiar score :D).

The first three are amazing, and the last two are still really great and entertaining. They each have awesome storylines, and in the end, they're one complete story and a really great franchise. This one is top tier, but it's not actually my favorite. With the established background, I think the sequels do it better, but I could be alone in that.
