A couple thoughts on the Melissa of it all: she was in the hospital when Spencer and Ian were in the bell tower. I too think there were multiple -A's, just because there is a lot of stalking to do and it would be difficult to keep tabs on all four girls and their friends/families without multiple bodies, I think. One thing I've been thinking about for awhile: I genuinely don't think that the person who killed Alison and -A are the same person. It just doesn't make sense to me. -A has been providing clues to the girls about the night that Alison disappeared... if they were the killer, why would they do that? Melissa feels like a good candidate for killing Alison, but I actually agree with Spencer - I don't believe she's -A. Her discovery to finding Ian's body was real. Her discovery to finding out that Spencer had Ian's phone also felt too real. Obviously, this -A person has some real issues, but I don't think that Melissa could've faked that. But maybe she did. The parents issue is always funny to me. They could tell them what's going on, but the show is called Pretty Little Liars lol I think it makes sense that they keep on lying to them. And yeah, brace yourself. The show will never admit that Ezra/Aria are wrong for the reasons we all know it is. Don't know if you remembered this detail, but we saw -A steal Peter's gun a few episodes ago. He just discovered that it's missing this episode.
