The choice is always get surgery to get them remove, and that has two outcomes, you could get your singing voice back, or your voice could be permanently altered. ( which is what happened to Julie Andrews) or not getting the surgery and risk losing your good singing voice forever.

2023-07-18 06:45:12 +0000 UTCthat's why that scene in princess diaries 2 is so profound, because it was the first time she sang since then. she had perfect pitch, and was a true one of a kind talent. it's such a shame what happened to her voice. thankfully it's immortalized in sound of music and mary poppins etc but it's still such a heartbreaking thing
