To answer your question I don’t remember exactly what andie was diagnosed with but she has major mood swings, so her new medication makes it so she can’t get too low because she gets depressed. But that also makes it so she can’t get to happy. She kinda explains it when she was talking to Jack in the middle of the episode. With her medication it’s almost like she feels nothing so she’s not experiencing the excitement of getting into the college of her choice. When Jen was talking about the effects of X she said it makes you feel very happy. Andie said she wanted to feel something so she took it, I don’t think she realized the consequences of mixing her medication with the X.
