Why the hell does Peter and Mozzie breaking down still make me so damn sad? I go back and forth between believing Mozzie didn't know the plan and Mozzie knowing and having to wait a while to disappear with the 23mil so no one would be suspicious and start looking for Neal. I'm glad they did leave a clue for Peter to find just to let him know Neal was still alive. I don't think Peter will look for him, knowing that Neal would forever be in FBI custody. It was also sweet of Mozzie to leave that card as a goodbye. I wished for years for a White Collar film for a reunion or something and now sadly we can never have it. Won't be the same without Mozzie in it. Will miss this bunch π₯°

In the episode with the psychiatrist Neal stole the money so he had that.I believe Mozzie knew sometime before the park scene though. I agree that everything at the hospital was real for Mozzie, but I think the reason he made a point of having and showing Peter the card and then leaving it in the container was his goodbye and letting Peter know he was with Neal. Also why he "didn't waste any time" in Peters words to come by and see Elle and the baby.I do think that the paper was to let Peter know he was in Paris not necessarily that Neal was going after it. Regardless you can't deny that the acting from Peter and Mozzie's actors was AMAZING! I cried like a baby watching Peter and Mozzie break down the first time I watched it

Keller said in a previous episode that even behind bars, the Pink Panthers had powerful friends and would not stop looking for the people who betrayed them. They would have used Mozzie, Peter, June, etc., to get to him. As far as Mozzie is concerned, he didn't know of Neal's plan until much later. The world (and the Pink Panthers) needed to believe that Neal was dead. Mozzie believing it made it easier for the everyone else to believe it. (Super messed up thing to do to your friend). I assume he got some sort of message after the park scene from Neal. Mozzie left the wine for Peter and he left the playing card for Peter as a way of letting him know and to say goodbye. I assume Mozzie was on the next plane to Paris with the $23 million.
