It might have been answered by chat, but the "dead things" comment was just about the "dead" virus that can be a part of vaccines that I assume she has been taught about. It causes an immune response, and sometimes this response can be big enough to feel ill. When you are ill, you are not feeling the virus (normally) you are actually feeling your own immune system causing damage and inflammation to your own body. So when the same process is triggered by a vaccine it can feel just as bad as having the actual virus. She was just saying that she feels ill, so the virus must have come back to life - it hadn't, and there was nothing sinister it was just an innocent side plot.

Walter is complicated. you will learn more and more about him as time goes on for sure especially his dueling personalities, there's a reason he is like that. This a great episode for learning more about Olivia's backstory. The Jacksonville Cortexiphan trials are so important. I think you need to go back and watch ability and see if your mind has been changed about what happened in that episode. I really liked Nick and he is sad. He was coerced into using his powers again and it turned out pretty horribly since he can't really control them. I was happy that Olivia didn't kill him like he wanted. We got some bangers coming up, the episodes leading up to the finale are fantastic and the finale is really a game changer.

You are missing quite a lot of clues, or maybe just forgetting. This episode has more payoff than you realise. I wanna talk about Olivia first. A timeline. In episode 10 she was abducted by Loeb (the FBI agent working for David Robert Jones - the guy from the German prison) and he gave Olivia a spinal tap. - In episode 14 Ability - David Robert Jones (when making Olivia do those tests) he tells Olivia that the reason she was kidnapped was to prove that she was one of the kids treated with Cortexiphan - the experimental drug trial conducted by William Bell when she was a kid. In that episode she was able to turn off the lights with her mind. And Nina from Massive Dynamic called her at the end of the episode to tell her that the drug trials (besides Ohio) also were taking place in Jacksonville (where she is from). Now do you remember what Jones was saying in episode 14? That his ZFT 'bible' stood for a coming war for survival with another universe - same thing that Nick Lane kept saying while he was in the mental institution. This was the payoff for this episode. It is all connected. And Walter was there! In Jacksonville! Conducting those experiments on kids including Olivia and Nick! The thing with travel between them is important, but there have been mentions about it before, try watching a bit of episode 14, there are some clues there. :) Now Walter, so much to say. Walter saw himself in episode 8 when he was confined again in the mental institution. The resolution for that episode was that when he got out of there again, he was able to stop seeing himself. Now nothing more was said yet, so no need to worry, you have not missed an explanation yet. Also, yes you are absolutely right, his personality is very interesting, most of the times he is kind and jokes around but sometimes, he shows the way he most likely used to be before he was incarcerated, and this is just deduction from what Peter kept saying about his experience growing up with him. Don't worry, keep paying attention, it will be explained in the future. Now that you got to episode 17, I would suggest just skipping episode 2x11 when you get to it. You are not missing anything. Really looking forward to what comes next. Thank you for the reaction. This show is very complex, and I am so glad you are starting to realise the connections, until next time...
