I really appreciated the Jacob/Melissa sub-plot, especially in an era where people believe children are “too young” to learn about certain things, even if it affects most of their lives on a daily basis. Melissa was totally right in asserting sanitizing history does nothing but harm kids and/or insult their intelligence in the long run.
