2023-01-20 21:13:42 +0000 UTCA very active season finale with so many things happening haha! You're correct this is Bizarro, but this is a case the writer's decided to not directly follow the comics. In canon, Bizarro is almost always the result of an earth experiment gone wrong. He's usually not too bright and every thing he is/says is the opposite of Superman. This version here is very much a Smallville interpretation of him. He's clearly not dumb, but they are sticking to the opposite theme. In an earlier episode, we see Lionel translating the Kryptonian symbol for "mirror". So in this case the kyrptonite just made him stronger since it makes Clarke weak.
