The way they dropped her character to nothing is their biggest mistake but she was getting too popular and she wasn't supposed to. I think people in general hated this season but I see a lot of Rachel fans in your Patreon.

Thank God for season 6 because if Glee went out this way, it would have been so fucked. Give season 6 a chance because it might not be the best season of the entire show, but jeez, it's MILES AND MILES better than the last two seasons.

2023-02-02 11:14:17 +0000 UTCYou're not alone in this, Steven. I absolutely hated this; the writers just didn't know what to do with the show after Cory passed away. Not that season four was that much better than this, but season five was a whole mess. For a show that loved to showcase Rachel, they really went off the rails with her. I don't like her, but I don't know why they pushed this plot of her going for a tv show when her whole dream was to be on Broadway and suddenly, she's hellbent on going to L.A.?! I also don't care for Sam and Mercedes together. I saw the potential back in season three, but it never went anywhere.

Because I don't remember liking season 6, to be fair though season 5 killed my interest in Glee and I just wanted it to be over, plus some other things I won't say here because of spoilers for the next season, so I probably didn't give the next season a chance. Plus, I don't remember it that well since I only rewatch seasons 1-3 and some of season 4 mostly the songs because I liked Marley and at the time Ryder. So maybe I'll like it more, I'll have see.

You'll definately prefer season 6 over 5 I can't wait especially since we never got to see David's reactions this was his last episode of the show which sucks since it was the worst season finale out of the entire show. The New York ark is for sure the worst batch of episodes in the show, so you don't have to worry about the next one.

2023-02-02 04:21:00 +0000 UTCMercedes was in the Jesus Club in high school with Quinn, Joe, and Sam joined so he could hang out with her more, so I guess her religion has always been part of her character. We've been trying not to spoil anything but I know you're worried about next season so I'll just say we'll keep seeing Sam and some of the other characters. It's definitely better than this season. It's actually a breath of fresh air after how long this season was. It's only 13 episodes so it's tighter and Rachel's story is more grounded.
