2023-02-20 03:33:27 +0000 UTCI agree with some other comments. This season to me is one of the weakest and not a favorite. One reason being is the continual dragging out of the Clana relationship. It was tried and tired and at this point the connection that once tied Clark and Lana together felt frayed and old. Also this season (not a spoiler) occurred during the writer strike leading to the writers not being able to advance certain storylines as much as they’d hoped

2023-02-09 18:57:07 +0000 UTCRewatching season 7 is kinda hard for me because its my least fave season but this is a decent episode. I don’t like the actor playing Grant Gabriel, I hate the way he talks and he’s annoying. I was no longer a Clana fan at this point as well

2023-02-09 15:56:47 +0000 UTCGrant Gabriel hired Lois because she was an excellent writer. "It's absurd how good it is. Your prose leaps off the page like a bengal tiger. I was riveted." He then says the story is unprintable because "I don't care if every word of it is true. I can't run a story about a ship from outer space without a photo." He was originally only going to give her the job if she delivered a printable story but opted to hire her despite this because her writing is so good. There is a running gag in almost every of Lois that she can't spell but that's what auto-check is for. I'd like to believe Chloe could keep pace with Lois if she was focused on just reporting. But she's super distracted helping Clark so much.
