I think Barry didn’t clean things up bc Devoe also knows about his powers so he’d for sure have a back-up plan for Barry getting rid of the evidence. So Barry thought the smarter play was not to run but to stay and prove his innocence.

2023-02-10 16:13:07 +0000 UTCMy thoughts were he didn't want to run because he'd just be on the run the rest of his life, and his loved ones would be accessories to his escape. If he just submits to the authorities he at least gets a trial and a chance to prove his innocence.
