There has to be drama. It’s a drama show 😂 therefore they have to make a babysitter want Nathan and maybe I’m alone, but I love Lucas and Peyton and the dynamics between the two of them at 19 years old makes so much sense! As young ppl weve probably all been in a relationship like that! I was cheering Peyton on when she was yelling at Lucas. Maybe it’s just me.

2023-07-03 21:17:20 +0000 UTCI actually enjoyed leyton drama this season. It was entertaining to watch, s5 is my second favorite season! I think you hate them cause you never liked the characters from the jump and decided who your favorites were from previous season so by leyton sucking this season made it even more convient to hate them even more. Lucas’s is worst than Peyton not sure how you’ve missed that the last 4 season Lol….every character has had their not so good moment let’s keep that in mind.

I blame Lucas a bit more bc his reason for breaking up with Peyton was so dumb, but yes Peyton is far from her best behavior right now. The nanny thing didn't come out of nowhere for me at all though. The girls talked about the "danger" of hiring a hot nanny, she has subtly flirted with Nathan last episode, she made herself indispensable in the household and also Nathan and Haley are just coming out of a rough patch in their marriage. This season has its faults but it gets better in a couple episodes.

2023-02-15 22:22:55 +0000 UTCI think Lucas is lower for me than Peyton, I don't like the Lucas and Peyton storyline at all, I'm not even a little bit on Peyton's side when it comes to Lindsey, but the reason that Peyton is higher on my list then Lucas is because I like the music storyline and I'm on her side when it comes to Lucas. I do think he ambushed her, I do think he was the one who broke up with her, not the other way around as he keeps insisting, I don't think she ever thought she was better then him, that he wasn't good enough and as I said in the previous episode, she didn't say no, she said yes, someday, just not right now, which is not a no and a break up like he says it is. As for the Carrie stuff, she's a live-in nanny which is why she was there at night and I do think the storyline with her felt very rushed, but I don't think it was a full 180, I think they hinted at possible problems with Carrie, with the whole don't hire someone who looks like her comments, then their was one interaction with Carrie and Nathan in an earlier episode that was potentially a little worrisome and the fact that Jamie drew a picture with Carrie in it that Haley saw to build up the question if their would be problems with Carrie. Then in this episode they decided to go from those potential hints to Carrie openly flirting with Nathan, which was rushed. But I think it's better than making Haley jealous for no reason and having her be mean to Carrie, when she's just a nice nanny, making everyone have reason to hate Haley, which we don't need because we already have Peyton and Lindsey. Also, on top of hating the Peyton and Lucas storyline, I also hate the Mouth and his boss storyline. With this season I liked the Brooke storyline, I liked her assistant, I was alright with the Carrie storyline, I was also alright with the Quentin storyline and I just had to impatiently wait for Peyton to be dealing with the music storyline and hope that Lucas wasn't there, so I could enjoy it.

2023-02-15 11:07:39 +0000 UTCyes there are a lot of over the top soap like storylines this season and they get more and more ridiculous with each re-watch of the season lol. nanny carrie did a complete 180 this episode compared to who she was in the first few episodes. and yes....peyton and lucas and their drama this season is extremely annoying. i've always been team lindsay and consistently feel bad for her throughout the season.

Their fight in this episode highkey made me chuckle. Also, Carrie, the nanny, lives with them so that's probably why she was at dinner and at the pool late at night. I don't think the "switch" of her was out of nowhere, she was first getting the whole family, Hailey especially, to trust her to then start being like this cuz that's how she would least be suspected and how she can easily manipulate the dynamic in the family, getting them (Nathan and Jamey) to start looking at her as the actual "mom of the house". It's so calculated which makes it interesting to watch lol.

2023-02-15 04:58:46 +0000 UTCYes, Joe Manganiello was known for OTH (and later True Blood which he starred on) before Magic Mike. I still call him Owen when I see him in something. As for Lucas, this is just who he is. Always has been. He did the same shit with Peyton and Brooke in the past seasons. While Leyton is my ship, I agree he is so annoying (as is Peyton) in a lot of this season. That being said, it's still my second favorite season of the series (season 4 was my favorite). As their nanny, Carrie lives with Nathan and Haley. Most nannies live in the house. You are not going to like a lot of this season if you are not pro-soap opera storylines because that's the majority of this season. Which is why I like it. 😂🤷♀️
