2023-03-08 04:00:17 +0000 UTCthis is my request, and i will happily sponsor it each month. each episode reveals a little bit more and more what happened that weekend/night of the concert. it really grabs you and pulls you in and you find yourself wanting to get to know them more and more. it's like this mystery. the representation in this show is also just super incredible, without being like an after school special. it feels really authentic and compassionate. also like what was mentioned above, quinni is really a great character and the show actually referred to the actress a lot to make sure she was portrayed in an accurate way. it's the best representation of an autistic girl i have ever seen. i love her friendship with darren as well. they are such a good character too! also, darren goes by "they/them." all the characters are done really well and just feel super authentic. even characters you may not like you still find yourself drawn to and want to know more about them. the writing is done so well and you can just tell there was a lot of care put into these characters. some warning about harper. you may not like her. many people do not. she's a very, very flawed character. but you have a lot of empathy for the characters you watch and react to, so please just keep some empathy for her along the way. as i said, each episode slowly reveals a little bit more as the mystery unfolds and grows deeper. it kind of encompasses all genres all rolled into one which sounds like it'd be messy but is actually done really well. this is one of the best shows i saw last year, hands down, and i am so happy to share it here with you on patreon. i'll happily sponsor this show each month for you. like i said, the characters are some of the best written and well done i've seen. the care that went into them...you can tell there was a lot of love behind this show. i'm happy to sponsor it moving forward <3

2023-03-08 03:53:17 +0000 UTCOmg this show is so good!! It took me a hot minute to get used to some of the Australian slang but usually it’s understandable with context clues. But this show is a very good mix of serious and funny. Idk if anyone else watching can relate but I feel like when I was in high school it wasn’t so common to be so sexual (like high schoolers having threesomes wasn’t really stuff you would hear about often). Lol but idk this show is really great. Also Quinni is such a good and authentic representation of Autism in girls (the actress playing her is also autistic) that should be talked about more!!!
