There was only enough supplies for a short time if you are stuck inside for 5 years and can only live on what is with you. The nightblood presumably worked, so she could leave, survive, and start trying to scavenge/restart food production outside. The girl with her is a nightblood, Clarke mentions this. So she would have survived just like Clarke - maybe with others who are out there and were not known about before. Clarke mentions that the bunker is buried, and that she doesn't know why they haven't come down from space yer I haven't seen this far so I am not going giving spoilers, this is just what I took from the finale.

Thats why clarke said she tried to dig them out but couldn't. All of your other questions will be answered in the coming episodes.
