2023-03-22 10:46:01 +0000 UTCThe tradition with the letter "A" is bc Bridgertons are all named alphabetically in order: A - Anthony, B - Benedict, C - Colin, D - Daphne, E - Eloise, F - Francesca, G - Gregory, H - Hyacinth. The Duke wants to keep that family tradition for his kids with Daphne too.

2023-03-22 10:41:20 +0000 UTCI think season 1 was good but season 2 was GREAT. We follow the more interesting characters in season 2 like Eloise, Penelope, Benedict and ofc Anthony. I personally don't hate Daphne or Simon, I like them actually, but the main pairing of season 2 is so so so much better and just incredible in every way.

I think characters as well as their motivations are fleshed out much better making them easier to understand and sympathize with. The existing characters you already like such as Eloise and even Penelope are given time to shine and have good moments. So definitely would love a seaon 2 reaction think you’ll be more plugged into those episodes as well. Also this story shifts focus to different characters each season so I think you’ll be happy with season 2 and potentially season 3

2023-03-22 02:08:27 +0000 UTCalso a lot of the questions you have will be answered and cleared up in the next season. as we've said in the comments, each season is a book, each book is a different bridgerton child (though season 3 may combine two into one) this was daphne's and was a pretty weak storyline. i did enjoy it a lot but unless you really love daphne it's hard to root for her or become invested. next season is anthony's. it really touches into some darker, heavier things. characters become more fleshed out. season 1 kind of sets the stage for everyone. you are introduced to this incredible cast and get to know them. in season 2, all that pays off as you root for them more and more and really connect with who they are and their motives. i think you should watch episode 1 of season 2 with a total open mind. even consider it something apart from season 1. go into it totally open and give it a shot. i have a feeling by the first couple minutes, you're going to be invested lol

Season 1 was also my least favorite of the books too through to be fair. daphne and the duke are just boring and annoying. season 2 has none of their bad drama so you can take solace in that. I'd honestly think it's impossible that you would think that season 2 is as blah. the main season 2 love interests are BELOVED. I know people who rewatch their season over and over haha. much more interesting and better chemistry in my opinion.

2023-03-22 00:55:10 +0000 UTCbless!! and i agree with riri. i don't hate season 1. i actually really enjoy it - aside from miss ma'am over here making disgusting decisions but ALAS. season 2 is soooo good and you will love it, i am like 100% certain. you're going to have so much more fun with anthony and see him in a much better light. looking forward to those episodes to come!
