A lot of people don’t even catch that “clark” is acting so strange in this episode. Nice catch! Trust me. Don’t wait out for Clark and Lois. I’m not going to spoil anything, but just sit back and enjoy the roller coaster of romances that is smallville lol

2023-04-04 02:17:41 +0000 UTCLois and Clark are fantastic together and they are very much representative of the comic book duo that they've been known to be. I am interested to see your reaction to them when it gets to that point, one reason being the show itself feels like its entering a new era with new life so it will be interesting to see your response to the show as a whole. Like it's been mentioned this show had a lot of interference in terms of when and how they could introduce characters and plot lines and because of that Lois and Clark's pairing was continuously put off. So for that I cannot fault the writing too much but what I can fault them for is Clark and Lana being together this season when they knew it was stale and that if they were allowed to then they would've spent time building him with Lois at this point.Its like they just needed to pass time and have Clark with someone. Also, I think it's been mentioned but just repeating it this season does have some issues with story arcs because season 7 was during the writers strike.

As Sofie stated above, the Execs wouldn't allow Lois and Clark to get together in the show for a very long time. If you think you're frustrated now, imagine watching this while it aired.

While Smallville was being made TBTB (DC Comims?) had very clear "rules" of what the show could and couldn't do and WHEN they could do them. Hence the Lois and Clark delay and the prolonged Lana and Clark. It is frustrating but worth it in the end in my opinion.
