2023-05-04 12:42:20 +0000 UTCI completely agree that this is the best episode of the season. It was done shockingly well and it reminded me how it was possible to juggle story among an ensemble. Obviously, it focused a lot on Kurt, which I think was a fantastic idea, but still sprawled outwards. I love that we see Artie’s audition and what drove them all to audition in the first place. I think Mercedes was always religious and we’re always meant to believe she grew up singing in church, but this is made plainly obvious in the Season 2 episode, Grilled Cheesus.

2023-05-04 12:41:43 +0000 UTCHonestly I would love for you to start Season 1 on here and go until the end of Season 3 but I'm not sure how much you remember of the show and if you would even consider re-watching a show for Patreon but I'd be all for it and it would be so refreshing as you watched the "bad" seasons of Glee it would be kind of cool to go back to the top tier seasons. But this has probably been one of my favorite episodes out of S4-6 as it does what Glee does best

I thought they were way more interesting than the rest of the season and it was really cool to get some extra backstory on some of the characters. I don’t know why the writers lost touch with the original feeling of the show and produced such a dumpster fire version of later seasons. Glee should have stopped at season 3.
