2023-05-12 19:14:48 +0000 UTCAbsolutely! Yea some of her choices were iffy to me but seeing it through a mothers eyes. I would’ve made some (SOME!) of the same choices. Id throw my own mother in front of a train to protect my kids. Also people seem to forget , it was just her and Maddie for 6 years. And before Maddie she was alone for MONTHS. And everyone one on the ring and in the bunker had others with them, they weren’t essentially “alone”. 6 yrs is a long time and the whole time, Clarke is wishing her her “family” on the ring to join her new family with Maddie and they seem to kinda throw her to the side. They had each other but Clarke only had Maddie and don’t seem to understand that’s her daughter/ the only person with her. & coming from Bellamy, the “family” comment. Must’ve thrown her for a loop cause they way he said it made it seem that he didn’t consider her part of his family, when she has always included him and the others in hers :(

2023-05-12 18:52:23 +0000 UTCYes Clarke is being annoying to the main plot this season, but despite all of her flip flopping it is keeping Maddie safe that is the constant. She clearly has no ability to think rationally or logically when protecting Maddie is involved. Her character actually makes sense this season when you realize that she will do anything to protect Maddie. She has spent the last 6+ years as a mother figure to Maddie and thus has a much stronger bond with her than she does for anyone else in the show.
