Yeah that site didn’t seem to get it right because everything I see online is about how much more everyone prefers season 2, like massively better response and numbers for season 2.

It broke records for Netflix upon its debut and how long it stayed in the top 10. Kate and Anthony as a couple are also the more popular couple in comparison to Daphne and Simon.

'didi' is both a term of affection and respect for an older sister in their culture. i LOVE anthony at the dinner table scene. the viscount is in true viscount form in that scene and it is glorious to see!! the scene with anthony and kate is so well done. "you are the bane of my exisistence and the object of all my disires" is a fandom favorite line that gives me goosebumps whenever i hear it. johnny's acting in that scene is just brilliant! when he tells her wherever she goes it cannot ever be far enough...wow. and this is why they are The Couple(TM). i never minded daphne and the duke, but it was all very fast. with kate and anthony there is build up to the passion. i know some people get frustrated with the "slow burn" but they cannot really go further than this given the time period and anthony's hOnoR...that's clinging by that precarious thread lol i do feel badly for edwina. she really wants this and whenever it feels like it's falling apart (when he didn't propose that one dinner for example) she takes it as a personal failure. that's why kate was so adament that he marry her and go through with it, because she knows how hard it'll be on edwina otherwise. as far as eloise....it is VERY scandalous that she's hanging about unchaperoned with theo. that is a HUGE no-no in their world, but especially because theo is lowerclass. el might not give a damn about that but sOciETy will and they will have a field day if that ever gets out. to me, pen's expression is less betrayl and more fear for her friend if it were to get out. she knows el is making a huge mistake here and that it can be damming not just for herself but for her family as well. she would be "ruined."
