This is a Canadian show that is basically a procedural, that uses real historical people, events and inventions to tell murder mysteries. I mainly started watching it, after it had been on for awhile because I heard an actress I was a fan of would eventually be in the show, although it was a long way off. It took me awhile but I did eventually start really liking the show for what it is and all the characters and I'm still watching it now as it's just finished it's 16th season.
