But she swept in, had a massive influence towards being scared of what was out there and people needing saving, then vanished to leave him with that. His life was one that was never truly safe, truly happy, or truly settled ever again - just to die anyway from supernatural means after living that life. At least as far as she is concerned at that point. Nobody thinks he should have been left to die. But that doesn't mean what she did was the best thing that could have happened to him. And he was saved for his mum to watch and be scared about for decades, before dying from something he sought out himself. So she was angry and lashing out, to some extent reasonably but not entirely as the ending shows.

It's my headcanon that they probably had the smoke entering the body when they each got possessed but we weren't shown to keep us in suspense. I would have LOVED to see a spin-off of Jody, Donna and the girls (which I don't know if you know but almost happened and didn't get greenlit π) and a spin-off with the twins, with appearances from their new grandma and the other hunters. It would've been SO cool. So many missed opportunities...I'm also devastated by The Winchesters cancellation. That was a mistake and I hope Jensen Ackles and his magnificent wife manage to bring it back to life some day.

2023-06-08 12:49:28 +0000 UTCthis is a really good episode i like seeing the boys with other hunters and seeing that they are seen as "Legends" in the hunting world by the other hunters is cool and makes sense cause Sam and Dean are the best to ever do it. we got some cool characters this episode, i agree that a spin off of Jody and the girls would have been awesome and those twins could have been a part of it, it would have been pretty cool.

It's just something about seeing all the hunters gathered together, even for a sombre occasion, like a family reunion with all your distant relatives...it's nice. Sam and Dean fit that awkward reunion vibes lol. And seeing them with Jody was awesome!
