Man, Bane Jessop is... something. I don't even blame Prue for wanting to play the part of a badass assassin. Barbas is hit and miss for me. I don't mind him in this episode, but sometimes I just can't take him.

AND he was to busy talking... sorry i mean whining when Piper stated they should take their chances with astral Prue. He talks and miss things and complains about what was already explained.

2023-06-18 22:32:58 +0000 UTCOh and Bane with the real Ms Hellfire were writing letters to one another for a long time, so he 'loved' her since then and they weren't complete strangers. It's amusing to me how everyone is so on board to ship Prue and killer criminal Bane where there's obviously no future, they just had great chemistry even in these few scenes...sorry Jack :)

2023-06-18 22:26:48 +0000 UTCAs a woman to me Prues reaction to the clothes and getting to play a badass assassin is not odd at all :D it's just fun to play dress up, indulge in some stunning wardrobe, especially for someone like Prue who very rarely gets to let loose. It's a female thing. ;D Barbas is extremely irritating to me, I too love the concept of demon of fear, but something about the way he talks and expresses himself just makes me want him gone. This show has only a few actual love interests and many guys who add something else to the storyline which doesn't end in a romantic relationship, just at first they get introduced in such a way which makes the viewer guess "could these 2 be something?.."

Piper literally said "let's take our chances with Astral Prue" because she was banking on Prue's new powers being too new for Prue to have mastered the ability to actively use both simultaneously. She literally just accidentally stumbled upon this new power this very episode, and you're complaining about her not already being at an Advanced Level at Astral Projection Manipulation. What in the world?? Even Hermione Granger needed time to study up on something and practicing it before she became adept at it. Sheesh. Cut Prue some slack. Jack is a rebound guy. Stop thinking of him as Prue's new Andy. You liked Jenny?? SINCE WHEN?!

2023-06-18 18:40:43 +0000 UTCPrue was eager to be hellfire because this is a side of her that we never get to see. She’s having fun and letting loose. She’s a character that’s usually more uptight and work focused so it’s nice to see prue being cute and letting that wild side of her out. You can also see that they’re trying to push this narrative by changing up her wardrobe and flirting with jack. He’s not so much a love interest for prue but he is a fling. This is more of a transitional period for prue since Andy.

2023-06-18 15:49:29 +0000 UTCI have such vivid memories of this episode lol. Probably cuz of Prue. In leather. Being a general badass. I don't think she enjoyed the astral projection specifically. I don't think any of them get any pleasure feelings when using their powers. I think she was just stunned at her new ability and thrilled that she could do it. They were all kind of anticipating their powers growing stronger, especially since they went into the future and saw their power boost. Yeah, I couldn't BELIEVE my ears when you mentioned the pool episode before you even knew that Barbas was returning. Gotta say, though, I enjoy his over the top madness. It's campy as hell but I always thought it worked pn him. Also think Prue just really enjoys taking a step or two in Ms Hellfire's shoes, with the expensive clothes and apartment and stuff. I am SHOCKED that you were upset even the tiniest amount at Jenny being gone. Thought you didn't like her character. That was actually the reason she was written off the show - she didn't test well with the audience. Prue has a LOT of chemistry with Bane. I kinda wanted her to hook up with him instead of Jack, too. Then again, it IS Antonio Sabato Jr. There were a few people Barbas killed last time to make his 13 witches list who weren't witches but wiccan practitioners too. I think the occult shop owner and the one who was killed by a ring of fire. Maybe Barbas didn't use his full powers last time. He was able to paralyse people with fear before. Maybe he had other abilities. Or maybe he picked up his new abilities from purgatory. Astral Prue can't use her powers so in case the convincing didn't work she wouldn't have been able to kill them. The best part of this episode, to me, is Daryl finding out. He has really amazing chemistry with the sisters. I will say - I miss Leo. It's only been one episode and I want him back.
