Tech rehearsal (known as tech week, generally) is when you add all the technical elements to the show (costumes, lighting, sound, etc.) Because so much of sets and costumes were destroyed, I assume Miss Jenn wanted to focus more on the lights and sound of it all, but tech rehearsals are generally more organized than that lol Typically, you’d want to test mic levels with the actual performers, but Miss Jenn was doing what she could. However, tech weeks are right before opening night (professional shows sometimes have a preview process before openings) so we are actually very very close to opening night. There’s only two more episodes of the season. Yes, Olivia and Joshua did date in real life but are famously no longer together. Olivia wrote driver’s license and most of the SOUR album about their breakup. I forgot how much I enjoyed this episode!
