2024-01-29 21:35:16 +0000 UTCi interpreted the ending with jason as him leaving the hospital/running away because he's scared. he pretty much tells emily in the previous scene that he knows someone is after him. so he probably fled out of fear. not because he necessarily orchestrated the whole elevator incident.
