Also, the fact that none of them knew what Code Black is...is so wild to me. One of the FIRST THINGS they expect us to remember when you get hired at my hospital is the list of codes - we have the common ones like code blue, code red, then we got code yellow, trauma code and ofc code black. Maybe some areas or hospitals get a different variation but EVERYONE has to memorise them. You get quizzed on it a lot. And there are signages and posters put up at our locker areas, etc. so we see them regularly and it gets ingrained into our craniums. I'm not even a medical/surgical staff but I HAVE to memorise all the damn codes. Look at Addison - she's a newer hire to the hospital than MAGIC and even she knew. She's from frigging NYC. Some of her old hospital's codes would probably have been different and yet she already knows what Code Black means. MAGIC's just too busy thinking about sex all the damn time, to paraphrase Bailey, to memorise the codes π€£π€£ although I get that them being clueless was just a way to explain the situation to the viewers
