I kind of forgot that Addison stayed with Mark after Derek left. At this point, she should give up on Derek and go back with Mark if they really love each other. I don't think Derek can look past the Mark thing and ever forgive her fully.

2024-02-13 09:35:43 +0000 UTCalso like i get thatch not wanting anything to do with ellis but WHY LEAVE YOUR DAUGHTER BEHIND??? he knew what ellis was like. he knew she saw meredith as a nuisance, as being in the way, a distraction from her work. how do you just turn your back and leave your little girl so utterly alone? meredith has no one. we see it time and time again. there's no siblings, there's no grandparents, there's no aunt she can turn to. she's completely on her own. and thatcher knew this and still abandoned her. he gets me so heated!!! and no one is like checking in on meredith. other than derek, and she can't put all her trust in that man so she really feels completely alone. george is like the first person to ever to say "hey, i'll be here. i'll check in on you. i won't leave you." and that's what she needs. just someone. christina is her person, but christina comes with her own set of issues and is too much like meredith. meredith needs someone not like her to just be the solid thing in her life checking in and being like "hey, are you okay? are you doing alright?" okay lol that's my little rant of the night

2024-02-09 05:13:36 +0000 UTCmeredith wants to be wanted. that's literally all. her mom was too busy and didn't care. her dad just straight up didn't care. she has no one and she just wants someone to want her, to love her, to "not leave her." george said all the right things when she needed to hear them. i can def. understand her being drawn to/clinging to that that moment. and yay mark!! i love mark so much. he's a favorite for sure!!
