i'm always so torn on gina. like i love her but i feel like they stopped really knowing what to do with her so she became a caricature. every other character seems to have started out with a schitck, but then grew more developed as time went on (charles with food and rosa, terry with his working out and yogurt, jake being messy, rosa being mean, amy being neurotic, etc) but with gina, they never really have allowed her to grow past her schitck. and in fact, her schtick only seems to have gotten worse. it's why she sticks out so much and not in a good way. because every other character has been treated so vastly different in comparison writing-wise.

2023-09-09 03:50:52 +0000 UTCI completely agree. I like snarky characters but when all you do is insult your friends non-stop, it gets annoying. I grew tired of her around season 4.

2023-09-09 02:30:59 +0000 UTCI'm pretty much with you on Gina. The character over time became mostly an insult delivery system, and I too tend to find her subplot the least interesting bit. Not that anyone should care about my opinion, but I wanted to let you know you're not alone.
