Clark was acting kinda crazy in this episode. I don't know what his plan was, but the fact that he didn't realize that the more he pushed back on Jimmy's story, the more suspicious it made him look. I kinda wish that Jimmy didn't buy into the whole superhero swinging down like Batman thing, but it is what it is.

I really love this episode. There are the great details like the secret happy smile Lois gives when clark zips up her dress, Oliver pointing out that the cape really helps with the aerodynamics and the irony of Lois stating that she had to keep her real plan a secret to protect Clark because it would have put him in harm's way if he knew. I love the reveal that Jimmy would still be a really good friend and wouldn't be mad at Chloe or Clark for keeping thier secret. The pacing is also really good. The episode keeps things moving as the situation escalates and I love how the parallel stories(Jimmy suspecting Clark, Lois and the Memory guy, and Tess's suspicions around Jimmy) all intersect. Clark's plan to trick Jimmy initially fails, b/c he has to save Lois, but then it ends up working because Tess has her goon's try to kidnap Jimmy. And above all it delivers some real change. Clark finally is ok letting the world know he exists (even if it's as an anonymous hero).

The ending with Chloe shocked me. I just sat there stunned the first time I saw it because I never thought Smallville would go there with her.
