Another example Lucas and Peyton can't communicate. I get both of their sides, and I get they're emotional, but they don't support each other in their reactions or even take time and bench the conversation. Both of them act like they should be making the decision themselves (Peyton having the baby/Lucas forcing her to abort the pregnancy).

Their ENTIRE personalities are about being in love with each other, torn apart by one reason or another, being moody and piney, cheating on their significant others to be with each other in one way or another, being happy together for half a second, torn apart again, rinse, repeat... Except they couldn't repeat for the 100th time again this season since they gave them their happily ever after so it had to be a drama in a different way - baby drama. They literally didn't know what else to do with Peyton and Lucas. I think there are some solid points - Peyton's whole thing was about her moms and feeling lost and unwanted and being alone without her mom. So there's a full circle moment that is right at the edge there. But the problem is lazy writing, Hilarie Burton being more than done with the show at this point after all the crap the creator had given her and, in my honest and probably very isolated opinion, Chad MM's horrible acting (soz but I've never been a fan of his acting. Always felt a little bit like cheesy overacting to me). I so wish Peyton had had a better storyline. I wanted to see more of her music stuff. And her art. She was so much more than just a Lucas simp and they absolutely destroyed that. I hate it so much. Also, Dan - sucks ass. Naley, I get you guys are madly in love and whatever, but you need to be better parents and not let a violent murderer who clearly does not understand what "taking responsibility" or "remorse" means hang around your five year old kid.
