so the actor who played shane in the show was recast for the reboot. Shane's accident happened during the shows run not the movie, I do believe however if you reacted to some og degrassi or the degrassi movie schools out people would definitely watch it.

I don't even understand how she could have believed her dad was a doctor. She knows her mom and dad met in high school and her mom had her at 16. At age 3 she said she visited her doctor dad. There's no way he could have been a doctor by then.

It's often said that season 3 of any Degrassi generation (Junior High, TNG, Season 12 of TNG since season 10 is the start of a new generation technically, and season 3 of the Netflix reboot) is best season of that generation because all of the one-off situations we saw in the prior two seasons fully come to a head and the characters get fleshed out even more due to their past issues combined with new ones. This is definitely my favorite season with this cast and probably in my top 2 or 3 seasons overall.

Actually it is not. He's the only actor from DJH/DH that they had to replace. The original actor didn't like that they got rid of him with that accident, so he refused to come back. That picture of him in the yearbook is fake too.

Gabrielle Stephenson

Yes that's the same actor who played Shane from Degrassi Junior high and high

Season 3 is goated in my opinion! Emma has always been annoying to me. This is just an evolution of that, although I definitely understood her plight this episode. I’m fine with spike in small doses, but she’s most just not a great mom. How did you approach that entire situation so horribly wrong? Paige will always be what they call “high maintenance,” but she wasn’t that bad to me this episode idk. Hazel’s locker did kind of suck imo - it was old and dingy. But you’re right - she shouldn’t have complained in the first place about her locker and wanted spinner to do something about it. Something that Degrassi does sometimes is they try to resolve everything in one episode/at the end of the two-parter. That’s why we got the spike/Emma and spinner/Paige reconciliation at the end, despite some things that may feel unfinished. Thankfully, they do less and less of that, and they don’t care if they end with certain relationships at odds. Like, it would have been totally fine if Emma was still upset with her mom and if Spinner and Paige were on the rocks, but I guess they wanted to protect those relationships for whatever reason.

season 3 is where the show really takes off for me. this is a fantastic season.

I love the twins from Degrassi High. It's so fun seeing the characters them older.
